Thanksgiving Snack for Kids

Sweet Potatoes & Flies
You will need:
2 sweet Potatoes
1 potato Peeler
1/2 stick Butter 
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins
Directions:
1. Boil water on medium high.
2. Peel and chop sweet potatoes.
3. After water comes to a boil, put sweet potatoes into water.
4. Once fully cooked, take potatoes out and place into bowl.
5. Put 1/2 stick butter and mash the sweet potatoes.
6. Add in brown sugar and a splash of milk.
7. Put in individual bowls and top off with raisins or 'flies.'

Marsh Mallow & Cookie Pilgrim Hats

You will need:
Cookies
Large marshmallows
Chocolate chips
Milk
Wax paper
Directions:
1. Set out marshmallows and cookies.
2. Line plate with wax paper.
3. In a bowl, mix together 1 cup chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon milk, then microwave.
4. Dip cookies and marshmallows into melted chocolate sauce.
5. Place cookie flat onto wax paper and put chocolate covered marshmallow ontop.

Carmel Covered Turkey Apples
You will need:
1 green apple
Caramel wraps
Knife
Stick pretzels
Candy corn

Directions:
1. Wrap green apples with caramel.
2. Carve four holes at the bottom of the apple.
3. Stick long pretzel sticks into holes (if they have trouble sticking, use caramel)
4. Use one candy corn and stick on front of apple, creating a head.
5. FInally, stick the candy corn to the back of the apple creating feathers.
