*Hot glue gun works best so some parental supervision is
necessary.
Steps:
Baby Chick
1. Find two large yellow 'pompoms' or cotton balls and glue them together. (Hold
down so glue dries well).
2. Glue two "googly" eyes onto one of the cotton balls, this will now be the head.
3. Cut one feather in half and glue to the body (other cotton ball) making wings for
your chick.
4. Have an adult cut a two cm long piece of orange pipecleaner.
5. Glue pipe cleaner underneath and between "googly" eyes, creating a beak.
Pig
1. Find one large pink cotton ball (body) and one smaller pink cotton ball (head).
2. Glue two cotton balls together.
3. Glue "googly" eyes on the head of the pig.
4. Find five very small cotton balls (one for the snout and four for the leags).
5. Glue on all four legs on the bottom of the body. Then glue the last one underneath
and inbetween the "googly" eyes creating the snout.
6. Take a pink pipecleaner and cut off a one-inch piece. Curl and glue to the back
of the body, making the tail.
Turkey
1. Find a large brown/orange cotton ball and another smaller one of the same color.
Glue together, creating the head and body of the turkey.
2. Stand glued cotton balls upright so that the head and body are vertical.
3. Cut a feather in half and glue one piece to each side of the turkey's body.
4. With an orange pipecleaner, cut off 4 different pieces. First, a two-cm long piece
for the beak. Second, two one inch long pieces for the
feet. Finally, a three inch long piece for the hat (optional).
5. Glue the beak underneath and inbetween the "googly" eyes.
6. See picture for feet
7. To create the hat, create a spring with the the three inch piece. Glue this ontop of the head.
Bunny Rabbit
1. Find one large pink/white cotton ball, one medium pink/white cotton ball and five very small pink/white
cotton balls.
2. Glue the large (body) and medium (head) cotton balls together.
3. Glue four of the five very small cotton balls to the bottom of the body, creating feet.
4. Glue the last small cotton ball to the back of the body (the tail).
5. Cut two one-inch pieces of pink/white pipecleaner for the ears. Loop them around & glue ontop of
the head.
6. Cut six half-inch pieces of pipecleaner for the whiskers.
7. Glue on the "googly" eyes.
8. Glue on the whiskers underneath the eyes (three on each side).
